Rolling Hills Collection
Fabric and wallpaper
After the winter rains the hills are blooming with grasses and wildflowers. Up and down the trails we walk, the children run down every hill, arms wide, voices loud and free. The ocean in the distance glistens, dotted with the small white triangles of sailing boats, the ghost of a cargo ship on the horizon. They stop to lift ladybugs from the edge of the trail - a moment of quiet concentration.
A Beach Walk Collection
Fabric and wallpaper
From the soft misty greys of a solitary early morning walking the beach path looking out towards the pier, to the long lazy afternoons with short walks from the blanket, collecting treasures at the shoreline with the help of little hands. Amongst the neutrals of the sand and stones there are always bright bold colors to be discovered on shells and seaweed scattered on the sand or on the flowers nestled along the beach path.

I am an artist and designer creating surface pattern designs inspired by the largest to smallest details of my everyday surroundings. I started designing patterns with the Southern California coastline as inspiration - while walking along the beaches and trails in the town where we lived I would collect rocks and shells, seaweed, flowers and photograph the wild rolling hills alongside the manicured planted areas common to Orange County.
After 15 years in California, I am now back in leafy West London where I am now finding my patterns are inspired by the historical buildings - stonework, period features, stained glass front doors and the be beautiful grounds at Kew Gardens and Chiswick House.
